NEXT WEEK: Ethics of True Crime podcasts with Chris Walker
PLUS: Listen to our September event with Youth on Record!
Hey folks! It’s Ann here. It’s somehow already October, and somehow already time for our next ColoRadio event! Before I get started telling you all about it, I wanted to shout out our lovely speakers who joined us on Sept 26.

Left to right: Me, David Ladon, Lucy Richardson, Miah Edwards, and Tongjai Lee
Copious thanks to Youth On Record: senior manager for creative youth development David Ladon, associate producer Lucy Richardson, and former interns Miah Edwards and Tongjai Lee. Please check out their excellent podcast Youth on Rewind. If you weren’t able to join us on Sept 26, good news! You can listen to a recording of the event below 👇️ Thanks to David and Tongjai for recording and producing this audio.
Coming up next week on Oct 15, we’ll be joined by Denver-based independent journalist Chris Walker, who has published work in the Atlantic, Playboy, LA Weekly, VICE and more. He’s the mastermind behind two narrative true crime podcasts: The Syndicate, which came out in 2020, and Blood Vines, which was released earlier this year. He’ll join us to discuss his transition into podcasting, his experience in the industry, and the tricky ethical issues he’s had to navigate in both of his podcasts.
